- Bruce and Bonnie
- We are a retired couple who are enjoying life on the sea. We set out in 1997 to circumnavigate Australia. Our first boat was a 30foot Van de Stadt Pion called Dynasty 1. We moved up to a 43foot Cole Nantucket called Pandemonium. We took time off to build a house in Adelaide and then bought our present boat, an Oyster 435 called Freedom Now, in Annapolis, Maryland, USA. Our aim is to sail north to Canada then south to Bermuda and the Caribbean and then through the Panama and across the Pacific to Australia.

Hi Bruce & Bonnie. You are not half adventurous! Yet I think you two fulfill the image of sailors very well. Not my scene. But I envy you the adventure. Anyway all the best. With your experience, I'm sure you know all the places to sail.Not like me coming into Parafield!!!! Will follow you progress with interest.

Bonnie and Bruce, Thanks for the email. The ship's log already makes for some interesting reading. Gale warnings, cold and raining here in Adelaide, with snow in the Victorian Alps. Elisabeth left for New York this morning, see will be away for two weeks.
